Han is an artist, educator, and entrepreneur based on Long Island, New York. His practice centers on visual art, with an ongoing exploration of material, form, and perception across multiple media. He approaches making as a way of thinking, informed by sustained observation, reading, and direct experience.
He received his BFA with honors from ArtCenter College of Design. Following his undergraduate studies, he worked in Los Angeles within the entertainment industry, contributing to prop design, environment design, and visual development for game projects. This experience shaped his understanding of visual structure, spatial logic, and the relationship between image and narrative.
He later moved to New York City to pursue graduate studies at Teachers College, Columbia University. Alongside his studio practice, he maintains an active engagement with teaching. The dialogue between making and teaching continues to inform his approach to both.
His work reflects an ongoing interest in uncertainty as a condition of creative practice. He remains committed to working through difficulty, sustaining attention, and allowing form to emerge over time.
